2020 Gladiator Features

The 2020 Gladiator has easily been one of the most eagerly-awaited vehicles to be hitting the market. And, for the right reason too – the Gladiator is the first pickup truck coming from Jeep after 30 years!

The Gladiator made its debut at the auto show held at Los Angeles last year and became an instant hit with auto lovers. The long wait definitely seemed to be worth it, judging the smashing reaction at the auto show and the stellar reviews the Gladiator received later. We present here the features of the 2020 Gladiator. If you wish to explore the model, you may want to go through its features to make an informed choice:

Looks & appearance
The 2020 Gladiator is quite a Wrangler in looks. But the frame of the Gladiator is unique – it is 31" longer than that of a Wrangler Unlimited. Its wheelbase is also longer by 19.4".

The vehicle has a payload capacity of 1,600 pounds. Its cargo bed measures 5 feet, is made of steel and comes with built-in tie-downs. There's also under-rail lighting integrated into the setup. Also available are a 3-prong plug of a 115-volt capacity and a tonneau cover. The 2020 Gladiator features detachable doors and roof panels, which ups the style quotient of the vehicle. Also, the windshield is foldable.

The interiors
The interiors are aesthetic and opulent. The vehicle provides plenty of space and has everything required for safe and comfortable driving. The interiors also boast drain plugs and a removable carpet. So it's easy to clean the insides after enjoying a rugged ride! There are two rows of seats inside, with each providing comfortable space for occupants. At 38.3 inches, the legroom, as well as headroom, are more on the rear. Furthermore, the Gladiator's rear seating is more spacious compared to other midsize pickup trucks in the market.

Performance features
The Gladiator features a V6 with a capacity of 3.6 liters that produces 260 pound-feet of torque and 285 horsepower. This specification gives 17mpg on city roads and 22 mpg on highways. There's also the standard 6-speed manual transmission and an optional 8-speed automatic.

Technology
The Gladiator offers a standard infotainment system with a 5-inch touchscreen. Upgrading to a 7-inch or an 8.4-inch unit is possible too.
