2020 Wrangler

The Wrangler is one of the most popular models from Jeep and rightly so. This vehicle not only boasts an iconic design but also oozes impressive performance with its incredible off-roading capabilities. For 2020, the manufacturer added plenty of new features to the Wrangler too. We discuss these in detail below.

Performance

The 2020 Jeep Wrangler is a truck-based midsize SUV that comes in two different body styles – the two-door and four-door Unlimited. Both of these are available either with a hardtop or a soft-top convertible.

Available in three primary trim levels,  Sport, Sahara (Unlimited only), and Rubicon. Each are offered in sublevels, which include the Sport S and Black and Tan for the Sport, while the Unlimited variants come with an additional Altitude version on the Sport and Sahara trim levels.

The standard engine for the 2020 Wrangler is a 3.6-liter V6 that delivers 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Buyers can also opt for an eight-speed automatic transmission.

If you want more, you can go for a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine capable of delivering 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque and paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Moreover, on the Sahara models, both engines are available with the mild-hybrid eTorque system. The range-topping Rubicon is the most potent when it comes to off-roading, while the entry-level Sport trim level is basic but still delivers a powerful performance on the road.

Styling and Comfort

The 2020 Wrangler features a classic rugged Jeep look, which makes it the center of attention on the road. Jeep has improved the interiors for 2020 as well. Sound deadening has been increased, the fit and finish have been improved, and the dashboard has also been lowered for an overall more pleasant experience.

Safety

The 2020 Wrangler comes equipped with plenty of safety features to ensure your safety and security regardless of your driving environment. These include ParkView rear backup camera, blind-spot monitoring, cross-path detection, and a ParkSense rear park assist system.
